In Indore, the district administration is initiating the process to provide land ownership rights to residents of 29 villages that were recently included within the municipal corporation boundaries. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has given instructions regarding this initiative. Residents or their heirs who currently occupy residential land in these villages without a lease can apply for land holding rights for a lease term of 30 years. This will enable them to easily sell their houses or obtain loans for construction purposes. Camps will be held at tehsil offices on September 29, 2024, in various locations to accept applications for land holding rights. Applicants need to submit required documents like utility bills, government correspondence related to the property, property tax receipts, and voter list information. Online applications will also be accepted during these camps.
